About Us



We are a newly formed body committed to:

  • The promotion, and organization of Caribbean Carnival cultural events that contribute to
              Manitoba's attractiveness as a great place to visit.

  • Providing an opportunity to other cultures to participate and share in the enjoyment of Caribbean
              traditions and diversity.

  • The development of a year-round cultural program aimed at enhancing the community's awareness.

    Our Vision: Inclusive & Sustainable Cultural Development

    The work of the Winnipeg Carnival Association is driven by our Vision to establish and promote a framework for inclusive and sustainable development of our Caribbean Carnival heritage.

    Our Work will encompass, not only Manitobans with Caribbean roots, but anyone who wishes to contribute to the achievement of our goals and to share in the enjoyment of our events.

    Our work will be planned and will involve individuals, organizations and the government through consultation and transparency.

    To borrow the motto from our friends from Trinidad & Tobago..

    Governance

    The Association is governed by a Board of Directors who work is based on the Constitution of the Association. The Board will develop and implement policies and procedures that support the achievement of the Association's Goals and Objectives.

  • Spread the word and encourage others to get involved.
